With a desire to help people, Dr. Josh decided at an early age that he wanted to become a doctor. In high school, he volunteered at hospitals, did personal training and became an EMT, which is when he realized he could help people before something went wrong with their health. “I didn’t want to focus on disease, but on assisting people to live fuller lives.”

While earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, he worked as a corrective exercise specialist. During this time, he was in a car accident that led to chronic migraines, allergies and shooting sciatic pain. He discovered the power of chiropractic and his body began to heal, relieving his symptoms. The chiropractor taught him about the incredible healing powers each individual has. “The only way to achieve optimal health is to concentrate on what keeps us healthy instead of focusing on sickness, symptoms and disease.”
